Dea del Mare
Vino Rosso
d'Italia
The vineyards are located in the northeast of Italy.
70% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon
The grapes are carefully picked by hand in mid – September when they have reached the perfect level of ripeness.
The harvested grapes are brought to the winery, destemmed, gently crushed and transferred into stainless-steel tanks where the alcoholic fermentation occurs. Maceration on the skins takes place over a period of approximately 12 days at a controlled temperature up to 28 °C. After the malolactic fermentation, the wine is aged in stainless-steel tanks until bottling in order to maintain the fruit character.
With its vibrant ruby hue, this expressive Italian red reveals inviting aromas of black cherry and wild berries, gently underpinned by balsamic nuances and soft herbal notes. On the palate, Dea del Mare Rosso is medium-bodied and fruit-forward, with smooth tannins and a savoury lift that adds freshness and poise. A balanced, contemporary take on a classic Italian style.
Best enjoyed at 16–18 °C alongside cured meats, roast chicken, pork fillet or traditional pasta dishes like penne all’arrabbiata and mushroom risotto. A versatile option for relaxed meals or by-the-glass service.
